Hello PTA Members!
As a PTA Member we would like to make you aware of a few things exclusive of general school news.
PTA FUNDRAISER: The chocolate fundraiser is off to a GREAT start. Thank you to those of you whom are volunteering before and after school to help check out boxes!!! With the proceeds from our fundraiser from last year, we were able to add BRAIN POP to classrooms for teacher use to make learning fun and interactive. We hope to reach our fundraising goal again so we can continue to provide this and other wonderful programs for our students.
2015-2016 PRESIDENT STILL NEEDED: We are in immediate need of a PRESIDENT ELECT for the remainder of this school year. President Elect will then take on the President role for the 2015-2016 school year. Our current president's 2-year term will expire at the end of this school year and she CANNOT continue her position as President for next school year. PLEASE consider if you are able to take this role or know someone who can and reply to this email right away!! Time is running out for precious training from our current president.
MONTHLY PTA MEETING: There is a general PTA meeting on the first Friday of each month at the school at 8:30am. All PTA members are invited to come but attendance is not required. Our next meeting will be held on March 6th.
MONTHLY MEETING MINUTES & BUDGET UPDATES: We understand that not all PTA members can be at meetings, but we want to keep you informed and let you know you do have a voice. As often as possible the latest PTA budget and meeting minutes will be available for you to view on our PTA website. http://valleycrestpta.weebly.com/ If you have comments or questions about topics discussed at meetings or budget items, please feel free to contact us.
